Java Spring Boot Software Engineer/Architect (Azure)

Job Description:
Our client that builds high-level SaaS Products for the Cyber Security Industry is looking for a Cloud agnostic architect that leans in on Azure as they expertise. Our client is hosting their Java/Spring Boot software in Azure, Aws, and GCP. They are looking for a Principle/Architect that can join a 5 person architect team to continue scaling the organization and solutions. In this role - you will be building software using Java Spring Boot and must be interested in doing hands on coding.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of software development experience in any OOP language
- 5+ years of recent Software Engineering experience using java Spring Boot
- 5+ years experience building software products being hosted in the Azure cloud platform (Principle/Architect level)
- Expert in Microservices
- Knowledge of and experience with data warehousing and big data technologies
- Experience in SaaS and Enterprise DB technologies, including SQL queries and MySQL
- Experience with horizontal scaling, and with delivering Software as a Service
- Experience dealing with very large data structures
Bonus/Soft Skills:
- Experience working in a FedRAMP compliant environment
- Experience deploying software in AWS and/or GCP
- Kafka, Rabbit, Snowflake
- Experience with ETL and BI/Reporting
- Knowledge of and experience with OO, SOA and Web Services (RESTful preferred) patterns and practices
- Experience with AGILE and SCRUM methodologies
- Ability to communicate and interface with technical and non-technical members of an org.
- Working knowledge of development tools and processes, such as source control, requirement spec, design, and design review, debugging, unit test, system test, performance test, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems
