Vice President IT Data & Analytics

Pay Range: $185K - $215K + Bonus

Job Description:

Our client is a Global Enterprise looking for a Sr. VP of IT Data & Analytics to join the leadership team and set up a Global 'hub & spoke' Data Analytics Framework, Strategy, and Community Practice. Even though there are legacy and new data and analytic tool sets, like SAP, PowerBI, Qlik, etc. this is more of an operational strategy and community of practice role that will require a high level of individual who has done this specifically for a global enterprise. This position must work out of the Salt Lake City offices on a hybrid basis at minimum.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years experience in Data and Analytics for a Global Enterprise
• 2+ years of recent leadership experience
• Experience having built up a Data & Analytics strategy, framework, and adoption strategy
• Experience consolidating Reporting across various multiple tool sets
• Expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and database design
• Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) & data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark)
• Statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics, and multivariate testing
• Expertise with the digitization and streamlining of reporting
• Experience defining Global Data governance across the enterprise.
• Experience establishing new data and analytics capabilities from the ground up
• Expert in designing and implementing new governance frameworks, modern technologies, fit-for-purpose policies, and processes, and building and leading a high-performing team to drive the data-driven transformation
• Implementing innovative data solutions and advanced analytical tools to transform raw data

• Experience in Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas, or Energy industry
• Experience with SAP
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, like SQL, R, Python, or SAS
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and AI implementation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to translate complex findings and results into a compelling narrative
• Professional certifications like Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) can be advantageous
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
