SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly perceptive and dynamic individual who excels in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. This role requires the ability to effectively engage with people at all levels and build strong, lasting relationships. The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding and responding to corporate needs, fostering employee goodwill, and enhancing the public image of ConsultNet.

PURPOSE: This role focuses on discovering, developing, and maintaining new business opportunities. The primary goal is to identify potential clients, understand their talent solution needs, and establish lasting partnerships by performing the duties outlined below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate new business through various sales activities including referrals, solution selling, cold calling, prospecting, territory planning, and client relationship building.
  • Build and sustain long-term client partnerships with companies of all sizes.
  • Coordinate recruiting activities with recruiters, including candidate screening, orientation, and placement.
  • Maintain and monitor client contractual service agreements, regularly auditing for compliance.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and ensure daily customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold ConsultNet values and cultural environment within client settings.
  • Provide on-premise support to clients as needed.
  • Utilize the database exclusively to manage activities such as callbacks and call lists.
  • Conduct client visits to build rapport and gather essential information including job descriptions, referrals, and business leads.
  • Identify and qualify new job orders weekly.
  • Present candidates to hiring managers and pre-close on rates.
  • Attend interviews between clients and candidates whenever possible.
  • Strive to become the client's primary resource for job openings and market information.
  • Always seek win-win solutions for all situations.
  • Attend networking functions to identify new clients and develop market knowledge.
  • Consistently meet personal business commitments in all areas.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional sales experience in the staffing or tech solutions market, with a proven ability to open new accounts and manage customer relationships. Experience expanding and growing relationships within current ConsultNet partners is also essential.
  • Team player with self-motivation, goal orientation, an outgoing personality, and a healthy competitive nature.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including tact, diplomacy, and negotiation abilities.
  • Professional presentation and demeanor.

BONUS SKILLS:

  • Understanding of Applications Development, Database Design, Business Intelligence, ERP, or CRM.
  • Familiarity with the local job market in Technology and/or Engineering.
  • BA/BS Degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business Management.
