Job Description

Job Title: Agile Project Manager (PMO)
Location: New York, NY (downtown)
Duration: 6 month contract with a possible extension

JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
Agile Lifecycle Definition:
  • Maintain and refine the SDLC and required documentation
  • Maintain and refine our metrics, related goals and the monthly performance book
  • Create and implement training as needed for all staff
  • Curate the Box folders and documents for all teams where they are hosting processes
  • Hold teams accountable that their basic standard processes exist and are kept current
  • Maintain and refine our Agile processes and required documentation based on employee inputs
  • Communicate updates to all staff and answer questions
 
Agile Lifecycle Execution:
  • Create transparency for stakeholders by updating them on SDLC milestones and events
  • Run the monthly performance book meeting (metrics)
  • Run key project review board (PRB) meetings
  • Run key centralized project prioritization (CPP) meetings
  • Map teams to projects that have been prioritized
  • Host retrospectives and drive health improvements across projects and their execution
  • Resolve project related or process related issues with Technology Leadership and project teams
 
Technology PMO Communication:
  • Create and distribute updates to stakeholders, Technology Leadership and Executive Committee (ExCo) members
  • Regular updates to all staff
  • Respond to regulatory and audit requests for information
  • Update required financial templates with Finance staff
  • Provide project budget, forecasts and other information to the Finance team
  • Provide inputs, data and information to Technology Leadership on our application portfolio, upcoming projects, etc.
  • Communicate Agile updates to all staff and answer questions
 
Technology and General Meetings:
  • Determine agenda
  • Set deadlines with project teams involved with delivering content ahead of the meeting
  • Review deliverables, presentations and ensure forecasting and financial reviews are complete
  • Coach participants for their role in the meeting
  • Answer questions about process, deliverables and governance
  • When required for executive reviews, consolidate individual presentations from multiple sources into one deck, fix formatting and distribute
  • Set up and run the conference line and presentation
  • Host the meeting, take/send meeting notes
  • Capture follow up items, follow up on action items
 
Metrics:
  • Collect metrics for our monthly performance book
  • Help metrics owners refine their goals, communicate internally and externally
  • Hold metrics owners accountable for their reports and to hitting their goals
  • Present the results monthly to senior executives including the ExCo
  • Capture action items, host retrospectives and drive metrics performance
