AI / Machine Learning consultant

Job Description:

This is a consulting role to help a company automate their manual processes and building machine learning / AI decision making software. Client is receiving .pdf files with large data records, then manually mapping over that data to MS Excel spreadsheets. Then doing manual BI reporting functionality within Excel for estimating best course of actions and decision making. Relatively small scale processes that could be full time for a couple months, then taper off to part-time or as-needed through the end of this year for minor upgrades or feature enhancements.

This project will require someone with a consultative approach who will gather requirements from all the stake-holders & users, then map out a project plan / timeline / software launches. This role will require someone who takes initiative, makes suggestions, and will coach / consult the client throughout the process.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years AI / Machine Learning architecture and development experience
• Python, Visual Studio product development for back-end machine learning
• Front End development experience using tools such as R, Angular, Go-Lang or similar
• Experience Importing / Migrating data from various sources such as .pdf, flat files, screen-scrapes.
• Experience gathering business requirements and Use Cases.
• Experience putting together project plans, and delivering to the client in iterative deployment capacities.
• Experience doing client presentations on project achievements
• Experience training clients on software usage and UAT.
