Job Description

Compensation Analyst - Sales

Contract to Hire or Direct Hire

Remote in the U.S., or can work onsite at one of their offices with the team

Pay Target $35 - $45 while on contract

Direct Hire target $70k - $80k base salary

Job Summary:

Work with the company decision makers and leaders to continually evaluate the merit /performance employee compensation plans such as: tiered sales achievements, bonuses, and other goal incentives. Analyze market trends and compensations. Your analysis and information will be presented to executive leadership and effect sales combined salary and incentive compensation.

This can be either a work-remote position, or can go onsite to the company offices. If remote, must be available to occasionally go to their offices for presentations, meetings, and events a couple times a quarter.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years HR experience working with compensation analysis
  • 1+ years of current experience working specifically with sales incentive/commission portions of compensation:
    • Tiered sales targets and benchmarks
    • Commission structures
    • Merit performance incentives
  • Expertise with very complex MS Excel spreadsheets including math formulas, pivot tables, and experience presenting to small and large groups with analysis and calculated projections
  • Bachelors Degree in HR, Finance, Business or related field

Experience with analyzing or creating Equity compensation pre or post I.P.O.

Must be assertive, and also consultative

Provide pushback to individuals and groups without causing contention
