Job Description:

Our client is a national regulatory body that governs the U.S. Stock and Bond Markets. They are currently looking for a strong Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) II who possesses strong coding/programming skills and has solid test background. This will be in the Member Supervision department where the candidate will have an opportunity to support the engineering and QA functions of a suite of systems and applications.

Required Skills:

Technical Stack:

  • Very Strong Java and SQL Skills  (Must Have)
  • REST API automation experience
  • Selenium/Protractor automation experience
  • Unit Testing experience
Essential Job Functions:
  • Independently design and build framework and implement
  • Responsible for identifying project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop automation architecture and set up test frameworks/infrastructure.
  • Actively participate in collaborative resolution of defects including root cause analysis production incidents.
  • Continually look for ways to innovate and improve testing process to gain efficiencies.
  • Demonstrates business domain expertise in the project involved.
  • Ensure compliance with our client's technology policies and standards .
  • Independently create, build, and execute test plans and strategy for complex test cases
  • Participate in reviews of system architecture, code and design documents.
  • Perform Independent Assurance on all SDLC phases in a project.
Bonus/Soft Skills:
  • Performance Test Experience is a plus
  • BDD(Cucumber) knowledge is a plus
  • AWS experience is nice to have
