Job Title:  EI&C Project Manager
Location:  Salt Lake City, UT
Duration:  Contract- to- Direct, Long-term
Pay range:  $55-75/hrDOE
Job Summary:
ConsultNet is seeking a Project Manager (EI&C), with 10-20+ years of experience, to provide support to our Mining and Oil & Gas team on various industrial projects. An experienced project manager and/or project engineer in the heavy industrial industry; preferably, mining and/or oil and gas. 
Job Responsibilities:
Develop proposals and project scopes, work-hour estimates, scheduling and coordination in collaboration with management, sales, project delivery, engineering and discipline representatives 
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and driven to develop strong client relationship. Candidate must be comfortable being client-facing. 
Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer.
Candidate must be a "seller-doer” and have the ability to manage projects and project teams but also deliver technical work when necessary. 
Supervise and guide team of engineers and designers to produce quality engineering deliverables consistent with the project proposal, standards, and safety requirements.
Responsible for the engineering design support of small to large heavy industrial projects. Researches, develops, and supports the designs of a variety of EI&C equipment, facilities, components, and systems for industrial purposes.
Ensure that the technical content of all engineering and design deliverables meet quality expectations.
Assists with development of equipment and materials bid specifications, bid evaluation and selection. 
Works under minimal supervision, work is reviewed for adequacy on completion.
Manages simultaneous projects with competing priorities in various execution phases on a wide variety of industrial processes.
Facilitates project meetings to develop and review project scopes, design criteria and discipline drawings. 
Accountable for meeting project cost and schedule requirements; evaluates and approves changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.
Maintains budgets and schedules forecast with assistance from project controls.
Applies principles of safety standards in design, engineering, and construction support.
Job Requirements:
PE License is required or able to obtain within 1-year of hire. 
BS in Engineering required with approximately 10-20+ years' experience
Experience working in heavy industrial environments required. This position does require field verifications in heavy industrial facilities.
Strong technical knowledge of Instrumentation & Controls based on automatic process control system like PLC and DCS.
Ability to establish the computer-based instrument list and I/O schematics.
Experience with P&IDs, PFDs, and specifying EI&C equipment required. 
Technical knowledge of loops, interconnections, cable/cable conduit schedules, load lists, and electrical plans.
Technical knowledge of heavy industrial power systems from low to high voltage. 
Familiar with the engineering and design process and project delivery for sustaining capital projects. This includes front end engineering, cost estimates, gated reviews, detailed engineering and construction support.  
Ability to read/interpret specifications and construction drawings. 
Experience in brown field and green field type work. 
Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience is preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD is preferred. 
Experience with industrial codes and generally accepted governing EI&C codes and standards.  
Experience with MSHA/OSHA safety regulations preferred. 
Experience with business development and commercial proposal writing.
Proficiency with MS Office applications are required.
