Orem, Utah metro-area

Hybrid work remote, and onsite two days per week

Target Salary $120k - $140k

Job Summary:

This role is developing next generation IoT products that will work with the company AI software. Developing applications and drivers for embedded Linux IoT devices. Work with micro-processor data sheets. The company also has signification software and security that interacts with these hardware devices, all taking advantage of AWS cloud storage. Lead and manage an engineering team.

Company size is about 250 with a hybrid work environment and brick and mortar offices in the North East, and West Coast. The teams you would be working on are small.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years working with C, C++ embedded programming


• Experience developing applications and drivers for embedded Linux IoT devices


• Experience reading and writing complex Linux Kernal builds


• Experience with BLE / Wifi stacks


• RF Protocols such as Zigbee and/or Zwave


• Bash and Python


• Experience working with Grub, Uboot and other bootloaders


• Rasberry Pi or similar


• Bachelors Degree in a technical field

Bonus / Soft Skills:

• PKI implementations in a Linux environment


• Team Lead or desire to lead a team of engineers


• Integration experience with interface standards such as NFC, BT/BLE, Ultra-Wide Band, Fascial Recognition


• Pro-Active


• Curious, taking initiative to explore newer technologies to improve company IoT products
