Field Service Rep

Direct Hire

Target Hourly Pay $30.50

Provo, Utah metro area

Job Summary:

Newly created position with a company that is in early-stage with new products launched in the manufacturing industry. They are now shipping products all over North America, and a few other countries and building a team of professional Field Service Reps. You will support the deployment/installation of new products at client sites and the commissioning (program, troubleshoot, verify user interfaces functioning correctly). Also, provide maintenance either remotely or onsite for existing products.

This role will require considerable travel nationally, and internationally.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience as an electrical technician for manufactured industrial products
• Experience with in-field technical servicing and/or commissioning of electrical commercial devices.
• Experience with various PCB design tools, or SolidWorks 3D systems
• Basic understanding of analog systems, hardware and power distribution
• Willingness to travel nationally, and occasionally international
• Passport, or ability to acquire one within first 6 months of employment
• Willingness and ability to attend client-specific training and certification examinations

Bonus / Soft skills:

• Power backup or power distribution industry experience
• Strong analytical and mathematical reasoning/problem solving
• Associate degree or equivalent
