Job Title: GIS Analyst/Tester
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Duration: Contract, 12+ months
Pay range: $30-$38/hr DOE
Job Responsibilities:
Provides geographic information system and cartographic services as needed for a wide variety of pipeline activities and projects and maintains geographic information systems (GIS) and mapping software applications.
Complete testing and data validation for GIS system changes for Business Transformation.
Maintains and upgrades the geographic portion of a Pipeline Open Data System (PODS) and other data sets, Spatial Database Engine (SDE) and coordinates the input of pipeline compliance data to PODS and other data sets.
It will include Maximo testing and working with Facility Explorer and Emerson/Geofields products.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in geospatial or related field or Associate's degree and equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3+ of progressive experience in ESRI ArcGIS and GIS-related software.
Working knowledge of GIS-, GPS-, and CAD-related hardware.
Experience obtaining GIS feature class and attribute data from construction drawings and project job books is a plus.
