Job Title: HR Generalist

Duration: Direct hire, long-term
Salary range: $50-60KYR DOE

Job Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties and works closely with HRBP and the HR Department in supporting North American Operations.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/employment, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation and employment law compliance.

Job Responsibilities:
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all NA Ops personnel; assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures; maintains OB employee policies, practices and procedures.
Participates in executing on HR department goals, objectives and systems.
Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution assistance, change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees.
Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing; assists with development of recruitment advertisements and other recruitment methods.
Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviews.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains company organization charts.
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
Consults with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Coaches designated leaders through change management, performance management issues, etc.
Responds to leader questions and requests for information, guides them to appropriate self-service tools.
Handles employee relations activities as necessary (plans of action, separations/terminations, etc.).

Job Requirements:
Minimum of 1-3 years HR generalist or recruiting experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's Degree
Self-motivated, proactive team player
Ability to handle pressure and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities
High professional and ethical standards
Strong knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws
Problem Solving/Analysis
Project Management
Strong Communications Skills
