$48 to $50 per hour contract with a conversion salary of $100K to $105K DOE

Job Description: Implementation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Implementation Engineer to join our client's team for a hardware project in San Antonio, TX. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for implementing route switches, Wi-Fi, and CBRS (60 GHz) solutions, while working closely with clients to understand their needs and turn ideas into reality. This is a client-facing role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Implement route switches, Wi-Fi, and CBRS (60 GHz) solutions for clients
• Read blueprints/design documents and bill of materials to ensure successful implementation
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement solutions
• Provide consultation and guidance to clients on hardware projects
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements
• Travel approximately 50% as needed to visit clients (reimbursed)

• 3 to 5 years of implementation experience in a consulting or client-facing role
• Experience with route switches, outdoor Wi-Fi on a large scale, Juniper, Aruba, Extreme Networks, and Fortinet Cybersecurity
• Strong understanding of hardware implementation and configuration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Consultative pre-sales experience
• Experience with other network infrastructure technologies (e.g., networking protocols, network architecture)
