Information Systems Analyst

Valencia, CA- 100% onsite

Direct Hire

$120k- $125k year

Immediate hire. Will be responsible for project deliverables on the implementation of companywide/enterprise projects. Will serve as the link between the business units ensuring that system issues, changes, and enhancements are investigated prior to programming. Document and analyze current business processes when / where IT change is requested. Develop and maintain documentation such as business system process diagrams and training materials.

Work with business customers to create use cases for software development or IT operational projects. Responsible for planning and implementing product testing. Responsible for software testing and quality assurance activities. Evaluate software for release readiness and report defects to software developers. Communicate project status and progress to team members and stakeholders. Work with business customers to develop and implement detailed training and change management plans. Provide post-go-live warranty support to business customers. Make business process change recommendations for improvement (senior level). Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion (senior level). Provide support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Systems Analyst experience
• Bachelor's degree in management information systems or information science a plus.
• Expert level experience with Visio or expert at drafting advanced workflows and architectural diagrams.
• Strong experience and knowledge of architectural diagrams
• Strong ability to learn and understand business processes, document business process requirements, and interpret them into future technology solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Solid presentation skills in front of small groups, including mid- and senior-level management.
• Excellent analytic and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel as needed (less than 5% of the time).

• Experience working in agile development a plus.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) training / certification(s) or equivalent a plus .
