Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a lead for a team of developers working on Java applications focused on the identity and access management domain. This role requires a deep understanding of identity mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT, as well as a strong commitment to writing high-standard, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

- Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications in the identity and access management domain.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in Java development.

- Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, including OAuth, JWT, and other authentication/authorization protocols.

- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).

- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

- Knowledge of security best practices in software development.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
