Maintenance Technician II

Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician II conducts building maintenance, machine set-up, troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance service.
1. Performs corrective maintenance and repairs manufacturing equipment.
2. Plans and conducts preventative maintenance per schedule.
3. Perform general building maintenance as required.
4. Identify or tag equipment that is not working properly or that is being repaired.
5. Perform other support activities as needed, such as general housekeeping duties, hanging things, moving furniture, etc...
6. Notify the Quality, Engineering and/or Production departments of non-conforming equipment that is in need of repair.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Ensure the proper care of machinery and equipment.
8. Maintain proper records of preventative and unscheduled maintenance by using maintenance management software and pass down logs.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment
Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Experience in preventative/corrective maintenance
Experience with electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
Ability to lift 50lbs
Ability to speak, read and write English
