Salary Range: $77K/year to $97K/year DOE 

Position Summary

Actively seeking a Manufacturing Science &Technology Engineer to join a growing team within the Microbiology and Pharmaceutical Industry. In this role, the ideal candidate will br growing the team and processes in preparation of Commercial Level Development. This role requires presence  onsite, as you will be working with both Hardware and Software on Premise within a Biotech environment.The  Manufacturing Science &Technology Engineer position will be involved with both upstream and downstream cellular processes using aseptic processing techniques.  It will also oversee the development and qualification of secondary packaging, cryogenic storage, cryogenic shipping, and point-of-use studies. Additionally, this role will support generation of standard operating procedures for equipment and processes. The role may also involve product development activities as the company grows and expands.  

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with expertise in good documentation practices.


• Demonstrated ability for independent work, thought, and analysis. 


• Working understanding of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and design control regulations.  


• Established knowledge of cellular processes and aseptic technique (preferred).


• Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.


• Team leadership skills and team player.

• Regular and predictable attendance.


• Ability to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state.  


• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education and Experience: 

• B.S. in bio, chemical, mechanical, packaging, or manufacturing engineering (or related discipline) 


• Minimum 5 years of relevant cGMP experience in commercial biologics, pharmaceutical, or medical device environment.


• Experience in a cGMP or other FDA regulated production environment.
