Job Description

This role, you will direct and oversee a team of electrical & mechanical engineers, and designers. The core products for the company come from their other facilities in another state and then this team will design, develop, and engineer how these core modules integrate with each other into new large capacity cabinets for commercial and consumer products. This is mostly new products which are created.

You will work in collaboration with the Engineering Design teams in the other facilities, and all the internal manufacturing groups to ramp up production and new manufacturing processes to meet the current and future timelines for customers. This is a rapid business growth in an evolving new commercial industry. This is a key role for success of new production development planning and the operations team for manufacturing production.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering experience in a product/widget manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years Team Lead or Manufacturing Leadership experience
  • Experience building / creating and then implementing a product lifecycle and product data practices within an manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with and/or leading new product development planning.
  • Experience integrating parts/supplies/inventory from other vendors into a new company manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline such as Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or similar.

Bonus / Soft Skills:

  • Experience using software to build timelines and integration schedules for manufacturing
  • Prefers to be involved with new R&D projects
  • Likes to participate in new manufacturing process strategy meetings
