Job Description

You will be working on / focusing on specific new R&D product(s) for a smaller Utah based company that is innovating for the consumer and industrial market. Working directly with electrical and mechanical engineers, designers, drafters, supply chain, sales, and marketing groups directly. Creating project timelines, resources, benchmarks, delivery, scope, schedules, costs, with formal tools and reporting progresses to the executive team on a regular basis. They need someone with an Engineering mindset for creating new products.

You will also help them with creating manufacturing / assembly processes. Work with parent company and other sister companies for supplies and services to implement in the assembly process.

This currently runs like a startup. Priorities are ever changing and evolving. Processes are most likely manual right now, and will need to be automated over time. Will also work with both internal and external vendors. Participate in executive meetings to present status of project plans.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Project Management, or Production Planner within a manufacturing environment.


• Demonstrated experience with creating project timelines, budgets, scope, assigning and tracking progress of resources – and able to articulate this regularly to executive management.


• Demonstrated experience with planning multiple production lines, and automating planning.


• Project Management software experience (list all on your resume)


• Bachelors Degree preferably in an engineering, technical, business, or financial area.
