.NET Core Principle Software Engineering Leader (remote)

6month Contract to Hire or Direct

Pay Range: $70.00 - $90.00per hr / Salary Target: $150K - $180K

Job Description:

Our client is a SaaS Enterprise that is in rapid growth mode. They are looking for high-level software engineers that have varying skills building robust SaaS Products. These products are built using .NET Core/C#/Azure/Kafka – this role will provide architectural guidance, thought leadership, and hands-on engineering support to these products and the local/offshore engineering teams. Experience with all of the above is vital for the success of the person in this position.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of recent experience and expertise building SaaS using .NET Core/C#/Azure/Kafka
  • Expertise in Event Driven Architecture (must be Kafka)
  • Strong understanding of the differences between service oriented architecture (SOA) and EDA - or the value that EDA has over SOA
  • 7+ years in Software Engineering experience
  • Experience leading the architectural and technical guidance for SaaS Product engineering teams
  • Deep understanding of DevOps
  • Expertise in Full Stack Development Backend, Frontend, Mobile
  • Must be interested in hands-on coding + principle responsibilities
  • Extensive CI/CD experience
  • Experience working closely with distributed engineering teams (off-shore & near-shore)
Bonus/Soft Skills:
  • Azure Event Hubs
  • Experience working remotely and autonomously – highly disciplined
  • Experience breaking monolith technologies up into micro-services
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
