Power BI Developer

Huntington Beach, CA- 100% onsite

5-6 month contract

$35- $50 an hour

Immediate hire for Power Platform Analyst responsible for supporting the Data Science and Analytics team with participation in various projects including but not limited to those involving Microsoft Power Platform applications such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Utilize Power BI for data visualization and reporting. Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, interactive dashboards, and other BI solutions to present data insights to business users. Design and build custom applications using Power Apps. Ensure smooth functioning and update applications as needed to meet evolving business requirements. Implement automation solutions using Power Automate Cloud and Power Automate Desktop to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. Provide support in managing existing RPAs (Robotic Process Automation) and make improvements as needed. Work collaboratively with the Data Science and Analytics team, understanding their needs and providing technical support and solutions. Actively participate in a range of projects that involve the use of Microsoft Power Platform applications, contributing both technical skills and creative problem-solving. Connect various data sources to Power Platform applications, ensuring accurate data flow and storage. Manage and troubleshoot data integrations as required. Provide training and support to data and business intelligence users on the use of Power Platform applications. Develop user guides and documentation to facilitate easier adoption of these tools as needed. Conduct thorough testing of Power Platform solutions to ensure their reliability and effectiveness. Address any issues or bugs promptly as well as keeping the team informed on progress. Perform data analysis and troubleshoot data quality issues to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Analyst or similar role, with expertise in Microsoft applications (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Proficiency in automating processes using Power Automate.
• Proficiency in SQL development, data modeling, and database design.
• Proficiency in creating data models using Power BI.
• Expertise in data visualization and reporting using Power BI or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Possess a strong understanding of Dataverse leveraging its capabilities for efficient data management, customization, and integration across various business applications. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Master's Degree in related field preferred
• Multilingual preferred
• Microsoft Power Platform Certification preferred
• Microsoft Fabric Knowledge preferred
