Security Risk Program Manager (remote)

Pay Range: $50.00 - $65.00per hr

Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Program Manager with expertise in Security Risk. The Security Risk and Program Manager will be developing and managing their risk management program, conduct risk assessments of processes, third parties, and IT systems, and propose mitigation actions in collaboration with engineering. They will also implement a governance and policy framework, maintain and coordinate documentation of security standards and procedures, create reports on vulnerability management, engineering, and application security, and execute the Security Awareness program, including user education and anti-phishing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of IT and Cybersecurity, deep knowledge of Cybersecurity Risks, and practical experience with cyber risk.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of recent Security Risk Program Management experience
• In-depth technical understanding of IT and Cybersecurity
• Deep understanding of Cybersecurity Risks
• Understanding of NIST CSF and CIS18.
• Experience in Process Management, Project Management, Security Risk and Compliance, Reporting, and Data Analysis

Bonus/Soft Skills:

• Experience having built out, and also implemented risk policies
• Must be a LEADER of project, not a PM
• Experience communicating conceptual and technical information
• Experience translating technical data into business impact information
• Excellent social skills and can easily work with colleagues from different backgrounds
