Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our software applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the smooth delivery and operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
