Job Description

Our client is looking for a strong leader of technology to spearhead the migration of their on-prem legacy resources to the Cloud and SaaS Solutions, especially Microsoft 365. The Director of IT lead a small team in managing various projects, with a focus on the migration project. The ideal candidate will be a polymath with skills in various areas like IT Engineering, Networking, Project Management, People Management, Communication, and more. The client is open to this position being located anywhere but big bonus points if you are open to working in the Buffalo, NY area.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of recent IT Leadership experience leading multiple projects as well as multiple technology professionals
• Expertise in the migration of on-prem legacy resources to Cloud and SaaS solutions, especially
• Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Intune, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Teams
• Expert in breaking down larger goals into milestones, smaller work items, etc.
• Agile methodology and Azure DevOps

Bonus/Soft Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Secure Access Service Edge, and Zero Trust Architectures is a huge bonus.
• Polymath: Skilled in various areas relevant for this role and eager to independently build new skills beneficial for the role
• Expert in ensuring high-quality outcomes
