Sr. Mechanical Fixed Equipment Engineer Location: Rawlins, WY area Duration: 1 year contract, long term opportunity Pay Rate: $75-90/hour W2 DOE
Job Description Our client is looking for a Sr. Fixed Equipment Engineer with knowledge of engineering analysis and design with computer programs such as Compress, PV Elite, HTRI. Work will be on updating/replacing pressure vessels, heat exchangers, towers and hairpins for turnaround projects.
Required Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related. 10+ years heavy industrial experience within oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical industry Must have prior refinery and turnaround experience. Experience with tanks, multiple fixed equipment and new equipment installation. Ability to work with 3rd party vendors and prepare/review engineering and design status reports, work plans and project variances. Design, calculations and developing site plans for equipment. Field site walk-downs for measurements, any Faro software knowledge is a plus. Put together RFQs for equipment purchases, work with P&IDs. Vessel repairs and replacements experience is a huge plus. Hands on mechanical, maintenance and reliability experience with equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly. Ability to work independently and also cross functional groups/teams with little direction.
