Sr. React Software Engineer (remote)

6month Contract to Hire or Direct Hire

Pay Range: $120K - $130K

Job Description:

Our global enterprise client is looking for a Sr. React.js Software Engineer. In this role, you will be building interface components for software applications along with implementing them following React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will also assist in driving the front-end architecture and develop new user-facing features using React.js, translating designs and wireframes into high quality code and optimizing components for high performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers etc.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a React front-end developer in Agile scrum development team
  • 3+ years of experience building interfaces in React.js
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) or similar
  • Experience in type system for React such as Flow or Typescript or similar
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Bonus/Soft Skills:
  • Jest or Jasmine
  • Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
  • Basic understanding of back-end technologies, such as java or python will be a plus
  • Experience of working on 3D rendering will be a plus
  • Ability to work with browser offline storage capabilities will be a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
