Job Description:
Our client is hiring for a strong Technical Support Engineer to join their growing Technology Services Company. The ideal candidate will come with experience supporting enterprise software with a focus on previously supporting security software, identity management and/or directory type technologies. Experienced with Windows, Linux, and/or UNIX administration would be amazing!
In this role you will be providing post-sales phone support and email support to customers that have purchased our clients' enterprise software products. You will work closely with the engineering team to escalate and replicate problems in order to resolve customer issues and drive product improvements through root cause analysis. Candidates will be required to build strong relationships with the engineering, technical operations, product management, and quality assurance teams.
Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of technical support experience with Infrastructure Enterprise Software products
  • 2+ years of experience with Linux/Unix System Administration experience
  • 1+ year of hands-on administration experience in at least one of the most common UNIX platforms (Linux, Solaris, AIX, HPUX) and Windows Server platforms
  • Solid Active Directory experience

    • Support of multiple-domain environments
    • Trouble shooting more advanced environments
    • Creating GPO's

Bonus/Soft Skills:

  • Kerberos and LDAP technologies
  • MS SQL Server Administration experience
  • Familiarity with CRM tools specifically
  • Cloud Solutions experience
  • Weblogic, WebSphere and Tomcat
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
