Web Developer

San Antonio, TX

12+ month contract

$55 - $57/hr

ConsultNet is currently looking for a web Developer to support a large client is San Antonio, Texas.The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge and experience in core Java, and web-based programming languages.You will also need to have proficient abilities around database design and application development.This role is a hybrid role required on-site work 2-3 times per week.

Responsibilties

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain software programs based on customer requirements, using development standards and software development lifecycle process.
• Daily tasks include:
  • identifying requirements for digital transformation
  • planning 3rd party integrations
  • planning and developing native code.
  • contributing to build vs. buy decisions.
  • coding, testing, documenting, error handling, and mitigating performance improvements in the development life cycle.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and programming skills for assigned code base,
  • develop new coding skills as required.
  • establishes repeatable guidelines and scalable standards.
  • leads cross-disciplinary team to deliver solutions that meet business, technical, and user requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional technical programming experience.
• Adobe Analytics
• Adobe Experience Manager
• Core Java
• CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS, SoapUI, Tailwind CSS, Vue.js,
• Web Content Management, WordPress.
• 5+ years' experience in web-based IT solutions Java and/or web programming, including JSP, Servlets, JDBC, web services, mobile, Angular, React, React Native, VueJS, JSON and HTML web development, Expertise in relational database design (i.e., Oracle, DB2, etc.), including SQL queries, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, DB2; and application development including APIs, microservices, and modern technology architectures.
