Civil/Structural Designer
Title: Civil/Structural Designer
Location: Salt Lake City, UT or Houston, TX(Onsite Monday- Friday)
Duration: Contract-to-direct
Pay Rate: $40.00-55.00/hour DOE
Job Responsibilities:
Civil Designer will participate in all aspects of civil/structural project design, detail engineering and provide technical support during construction and commissioning. Experience in the design of industrial facilities, petrochemical, oil & gas, pipeline projects.
Job Requirements:
Associate degree or technical college or combination of education and experience.
5 years + of civil design experience with land development, including site gradings, roadway, culinary water, structural (footings, foundations, and floor layout).
Experience with concrete foundations and flatwork , building design.
Experience in heavy structural steel such as platforms and large equipment support structures.
Experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
Knowledge of applicable industry standards and codes (ASCE , AISC and ACI).
