Job Description:

• The Senior Applications Developer is a full stack developer and is responsible for customizing and developing applications under general guidance. This position develops and maintains high-quality web applications, covering both front-end and back-end aspects. The Senior Applications Developer builds user interfaces, creates server-side logic, writes APIs, and integrates the front-end with the back end. Additionally, this position assists with guiding and mentoring other developers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications from front-end to back-end aspects and software integrations such as API communications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Document coding standards, development processes, and software design
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
• Mentor junior developers and guide on best practices

Required Skills:

• Must be experienced in object-oriented programming and SOLID principles
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Prior experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience writing, using, and troubleshooting RESTful Web APIs
• Strong knowledge of relational databases like DB2, MS SQL Server, and SQL writing skills
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• General understanding of Python programming
• Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with serverless computing

Bonus Skills:

• AWS, Azure, GCP experience
• Basic knowledge of low-code platforms like Valence, and OutSystems
• Awareness with non-relational databases like MongoDB
• Experience with open-source technologies such as NodeJS or Ruby
• Basic understanding of ORMs such as Django, Mongoose, or Objection
