Job Description:

The Associate Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support across various operational areas, focusing on land acquisition and related legal matters. This role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, advising on zoning and entitlement issues, managing litigation, and collaborating with internal departments and external partners to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal expertise and a proactive approach to resolving complex matters.

Required Skills:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• 3-5 years of experience in real estate, corporate law, or related legal fields.
• Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
• Strong understanding of land acquisition, zoning, and entitlement processes.

• Experience in construction or real estate development legal matters.
• Knowledge of employment law, safety compliance (OSHA), and policy development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience managing litigation and working with outside counsel.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and legal research tools.
