Job Description:

A BI Engineer specializing in Looker is sought to support a Cloud Cost Management (CCM) product. The role involves collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to develop BI solutions that align with product roadmaps and customer needs, addressing production challenges, and optimizing analytics dashboarding functionality.

Required Skills:

• Business Intelligence Experience: 5-7 years in BI or data engineering roles with extensive Looker and SQL expertise.
• Data Engineering Proficiency: Skilled in schema design, SQL queries, and data backfill processes.
• Dashboarding Expertise: Proven ability to create and optimize Looker BI dashboards.
• Problem-Solving in Production: Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in BI tools.
• Customer Collaboration: Strong communication skills for scoping and managing BI requirements with end-users.

Bonus/Soft Skills:

• White-Labeled or Embedded BI: Experience with Looker dashboards in embedded or white-labeled environments.
• Technical Roadmap Alignment: Familiarity with working alongside engineering teams to integrate BI solutions with technical priorities.
• Customer-Facing Skills: Ability to discuss BI needs and provide interim solutions during customer calls.
• Data Integrity Management: Expertise in ensuring data accuracy and functionality through query optimization.
• Workflow Management: Experience tracking and prioritizing BI-related tickets to maintain efficient workflows.
