Program Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agile Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex software development projects, ideally in the EdTech industry. This role will require strong Agile project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex Agile programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, software development, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
• Coach and mentor Agile teams to improve their practices and performance.
• Identify and manage project risks and dependencies.
• Use JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet to track project progress, manage tasks, and generate reports.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Travel occasionally and work in the Eastern time zone as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Agile project management with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Deep knowledge of software development and adoption, particularly in the EdTech industry.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• A growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Ability to influence and collaborate in a matrix organization.
