Senior Project Manager
Position Overview
We are hiring Senior Project Managers to oversee the execution of critical migration and integration projects as we transition from outsourced IT solutions to in-house capabilities. These roles are essential to ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale initiatives across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT migration projects, including transitioning work from third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to define project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee integration projects, focusing on abstracting integration points and replacing point-to-point interfaces with scalable frameworks.
- Ensure projects align with business goals for eligibility, billing, and claims solutions.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication to manage dependencies, risks, and resource allocations.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including SOWs, project plans, and status reports.
- Lead Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies as appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
- 7+ years of experience managing large-scale healthcare IT projects.
- Proven expertise in migrating and integrating systems in the payor space.
- Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial insurance products.
- Experience working with TPAs and transitioning outsourced work to in-house teams.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT platforms and systems integration.
- Experience working with vendors in the healthcare space.
- Proficiency in remote team collaboration tools and methodologies.
