Job Description: Sr. DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network automation, containerization, and automation platforms, as well as proficiency in scripting and Linux environments. This role requires a strong focus on building and maintaining scalable and efficient infrastructure to support our development and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and automate network provisioning and management using industry-standard tools and practices.
• Develop and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments to ensure seamless deployment and scaling of applications.
• Leverage Ansible and/or Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and streamline the provisioning and configuration of systems and services.
• Utilize Python and other scripting languages to create custom automation scripts and tools for operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth integration of software builds and deployments.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal uptime.
• Conduct system audits to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on DevOps principles and practices.
• Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications related to DevOps activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role with a strong emphasis on automation and infrastructure management.
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Extensive experience with Ansible and/or Terraform for automation and configuration management.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and familiarity with other scripting languages such as Bash or Perl.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, particularly Red Hat and Ubuntu.
• Experience with network automation tools and techniques is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
