UI/UX Developer

ConsultNet New York, NY (Onsite) Full-Time

Job Description:

As a UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create visually appealing and highly functional applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand project requirements and translate them into user interfaces.
  • Design and prototype user interfaces using industry-standard design tools.
  • Implement responsive and adaptive designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence of the user interface across different platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio of design projects.
  • Proficiency in the top 5 most commonly used UI/UX tools:
    • Adobe XD: Experience in designing and prototyping user interfaces.
    • Sketch: Proficiency in creating and collaborating on design projects.
    • Figma: Ability to design and collaborate in real-time with team members.
    • InVision: Experience in creating interactive prototypes and conducting usability tests.
    • Axure: Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
