Tech Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Tech Lead with experience in Java, AWS, and Angular to join our dynamic team based in Rockville, MD. This role requires excellent communication skills, along with a solid background in Design/Architecture. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team, ensuring high-quality development, and collaborating on both technical and strategic aspects of software design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex software applications using Java, AWS, and Angular.
• Architect scalable, secure, and efficient systems, ensuring best practices and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture, design solutions, and drive innovation.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of learning.
• Oversee and contribute to the development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables within deadlines.
• Engage in continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and team workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and support testing and deployment strategies.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Proven experience with Java, AWS, and Angular technologies.
• Strong background in Design/Architecture of complex software systems.
• Solid experience in leading teams and mentoring developers.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work from the Rockville, MD office at least 2 days a week, with potential for more based on company RTO (Return to Office) policy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Must be based in the DMV area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) for easy commuting.

• Experience with Agile development practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
• Exposure to additional technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Microservices is a plus.
• Leadership experience in driving technical initiatives and ensuring team growth.
