Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Consultant – Mechanical Engineer to lead projects, assess field conditions, and ensure design quality in new construction and renovations. Reporting to a Principal Engineer, you will oversee technical execution, client communication, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multidisciplinary projects, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
- Perform site assessments, inspections, and design evaluations.
- Develop calculations, scopes-of-work, budget estimates, and technical reports.
- Coordinate adaptive reuse and facility enhancement projects.
- Work with licensed professionals to design and assess buildings across sectors.
- Engage with clients regularly to address concerns and maintain strong relationships.
- Support business development through proposals, presentations, and technical insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (required).
- 8+ years of mechanical design experience; PE licensure preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
