Pay: $120,000 - $125,000 CAD
Job Description:
Reporting to the Program Director, the Senior Project Manager, IT Infrastructure is responsible for managing and delivering the BOX Technology IT Infrastructure project portfolio. As owner of the BOX Technology IT Infrastructure project portfolio, the Senior Project Manager, IT Infrastructure will oversee all aspects of project planning, including resources, schedules, budgets, management of risks, project change requests and reporting. Working with a multi-disciplinary team, the Senior Project Manager will lead, monitor, and guide the progress of projects to ensure successful on-time and budget project delivery. The Senior Project Manager will build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and business stakeholders.
The Senior Project Manager ensures that projects are managed in accordance to established standards and policies and contributes to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. In addition, the Senior Project Manager will help evolve policies and procedures.
The Senior Project Manager will be the client interface responsible for communicating project status, service level reporting and manage client needs and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain project portfolio
- Master the project life cycle, from implementation to execution
- Ensure that project activities throughout the life cycle comply with policies and procedures
- Work with stakeholders and team members to establish priorities and schedules
- Work with external suppliers as required
- Prepare detailed project plans for all phases of projects
- Create detailed project plans for all phases of projects
- Manage day-to-day project activities
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to achieve project objectives and schedules
- Report on project progress, dependencies, risks, issues and budget
- Regularly communicate project progress to team members, stakeholders and management
- Participate in the establishment of practices, models, policies and tools to evolve project deployment capabilities
- Own the change management process, including leading the change committee
- Support audit related activities
Required Skills:
- 10+ years' experience in Information Technology Project Management
- 5+ years' experience in deployment of Infrastructure projects
- Bilingualism required (French and English)
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry (an asset)
- Knowledge of financial markets (an asset)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Deep understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies
- Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills
- Business acumen skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation).
- Self-motivated, decisive, with ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Team building skills with technical and non-technical staff
- Decisiveness in resolving business problems and identifying priorities
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Advanced experience of MS Office suite and Project Management tools
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
