Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solutions Architect to lead and oversee the successful migration of collaboration and communication platforms from Webex to Microsoft Teams. In this role, you will collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure a seamless transition. You will be responsible for designing the migration strategy, creating architectural solutions, and ensuring that the migration aligns with organizational goals, security standards, and user requirements.

Responsibilities:

Migration Planning & Strategy:

• Develop and lead the strategy for migrating users, applications, and services from Webex to Microsoft Teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams to assess current systems, define the scope of migration, and determine timelines.
• Identify and document dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and efficient migration solutions that meet the business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in the integration of Webex, Microsoft Teams, and related systems (e.g., Office 365, Active Directory, etc.).
• Lead the development of end-to-end migration workflows, including data migration, user provisioning, application integration, and communication services.

• Collaborate with IT, business leaders, and end-users to understand requirements and ensure the migration meets expectations.
• Conduct regular status meetings and communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Work closely with third-party vendors and Microsoft Teams specialists to resolve any integration challenges.

• Provide expert-level support during the migration phase, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
• Ensure user adoption strategies are in place, including training, user support, and documentation.
• Assist in post-migration assessments to optimize Microsoft Teams functionality and performance.

• Ensure that the migration complies with company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement best practices for data protection, security, and governance during the migration process.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar role, specifically with Webex, Microsoft Teams, and collaboration tools.
• Expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, including knowledge of Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, and Webex platforms.
• Strong knowledge of integration strategies, APIs, and interoperability between Webex and Microsoft Teams.
• Hands-on experience with migration tools, automation, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Teams PowerShell, or third-party migration tools).
• Experience with system architecture and migration of large-scale enterprise environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certifications.
• Cisco Webex certifications or experience with Webex administration and deployment.
• Experience with enterprise-level change management and user training during platform migrations.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
