Long-Term Contract: $60-$80 per hour

Our client is in search of a Data Engineer to join their team for a 6 month contract that could likely extend much longer. You will develop a user-friendly, interactive Tableau dashboard that effectively presents school organization data. This project will leverage the Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) used in the EDPass Organization Directory information Data Package, providing a comprehensive view of Utah's educational landscape.

Project Objectives:

• Create a Tableau visualization dashboard that allows users to easily view, search, and analyze school organization data from the EDPass Organization Directory.
• Ensure the visualization adheres to CEDS and national reporting standards for education data.
• Design the visualization with future scalability in mind, enabling integration with other EDPass data packages (e.g., Generate) and federal reporting requirements.
• Develop open-source code that can be shared with and utilized by the broader education community.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in developing interactive data visualizations using Tableau, including Tableau's Desktop, Prep, and Server.
• Strong understanding of CEDS and education data reporting standards.
• Familiarity with EDPass data packages and the Organization Directory.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
