Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of multiple complex projects. This role involves managing project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, and driving successful project outcomes from inception to completion. The ideal candidate is adept at balancing stakeholder expectations, mitigating risks, and navigating the full project lifecycle using best-in-class project management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple medium-to-large cross-functional IT projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables remain on track.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to align technical initiatives with business objectives.

• Implement and oversee change control processes to effectively manage project scope adjustments.

• Lead teams of 20+ matrixed internal and vendor resources across geographically dispersed locations.

• Develop integrated project schedules, proactively identifying risks to timelines and creating mitigation plans.

• Monitor and resolve project risks, issues, and challenges, escalating when necessary to maintain progress.

• Manage project budgets ranging from $1M to $5M, including capital expenditures and SaaS-related costs.

• Prioritize and balance multiple projects within a portfolio, ensuring resources and objectives align with business goals.

• Coordinate project governance, stakeholder communications, and progress reporting, ensuring transparency and alignment.

• Support the adoption of project management standards and frameworks, contributing to organizational best practices.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers, fostering a collaborative project delivery culture.

• Drive the delivery of moderately complex technical projects involving integrations and emerging technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks).

• Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira for scheduling and project tracking.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders and senior leadership.

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with an ability to adapt to shifting project priorities.

• Excellent organizational abilities for managing tasks, schedules, and resources efficiently.

• Capability to learn and adopt new systems, technologies, and project management tools.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience managing complex IT projects across the full project lifecycle.

• Industry-recognized project management certifications (PMP, ACP, Scrum Master) are highly desirable.

Work Environment and Expectations

• Flexibility to travel occasionally for project-related needs, including overnight stays.

• Willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours to meet project milestones.

• Must be attentive to potential worksite hazards and follow company safety protocols.

• Ability to meet physical requirements such as prolonged sitting, typing, and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
