Job Description: Elastic Search Engineer

The Elastic Search Engineer will be responsible for transitioning search technologies Algolia to Elastic Cloud, designing and implementing the ELK stack, and improving search relevance through various keyword search techniques. Key tasks include developing APIs for integrating custom Machine Learning models, optimizing indexes, implementation, workflow, and configuration. Must agree to daily meetings on Greenwich Mean Time Zone.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of ElasticSearch development experience including implementation.
• Strong development skills in Python
• Expertise with ELK stack components
• Experience with API development and working with APIs in production (FastAPI)
• Knowledge of Embeddings and Vector Databases.
• Ability to work with Machine Learning professionals, understanding database architecture and design.

• ElasticSearch certification
• Experience with languages such as C#, TypeScript, and MySQL
• Experience with Java
• Experience with Kotlin
