Senior Benefits Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Analyst to support the coordination and administration of benefits systems and processes. This role focuses on optimizing benefits and HR systems, blending expertise in benefits with HRIS knowledge to ensure seamless operations. The role involves working on benefits program analysis, process enhancements, and delivering high-quality solutions. This position reports directly to the Benefits Director and requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for benefits systems and configurations, specializing in data requirements, system configurations, and testing for both benefits platforms and HCM systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze data, supporting system implementation and ongoing optimizations.
• Conduct financial reporting and analysis related to the organization's benefits program.
• Identify, research, and resolve data discrepancies and escalated issues related to benefits and payroll.
• Develop and implement processes to prevent data errors and improve system accuracy.
• Work closely with HRIS to define business requirements, support data conversion actions, and drive configuration enhancements.
• Participate in system testing for implementations and future updates.
• Configure internal and external HR systems to support employee benefits enrollment and ensure compliance with plan and business requirements.
• Provide routine and advanced support for benefits-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Excel (intermediate required; advanced preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in analytical roles, with HRIS experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HR software platforms such as Oracle HCM, ADP, Benefitfocus, or similar tools.
• Strong process documentation and diagnostic skills, with a focus on data quality assurance.
• Experience working with large datasets and database tools.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and service excellence.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and delivering on tight deadlines.
