We are seeking a knowledgeable Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and provision data platform technologies for our customers and business units, both on-premises and in the cloud. The DBA will be responsible for the administration, architecture, security, and development of mission-critical database systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision and set up data platform technologies for various business units.
• Administer and maintain database systems, focusing on MS SQL Server in Windows and virtual environments.
• Oversee backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization, along with capacity planning for database systems.
• Implement security measures and conduct audits to protect sensitive data.
• Manage master data and metadata to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Integrate data platform technologies with application services in Azure.
• Migrate code and database changes through various stages of the development life cycle.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide performance analysis and resource utilization assessments.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server database administration, including high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
• Experience with backups, restores, and various recovery models.
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments, including Active Directory.
• Proven ability to perform detailed performance analysis and optimize resource utilization.
• Moderate troubleshooting skills and experience in performance tuning.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
