$70/hr.

Job Description:

The Senior Cloud Engineer Azure will design, implement, and manage technology-based business solutions using Microsoft Azure and multi-cloud environments to enhance delivery approaches for the various business units. This role includes building Azure cloud environments, supporting cloud services, providing technical guidance, and training to ensure a seamless transition. The position requires a hybrid work schedule with 3 days remote and 2 days in-office.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in designing and developing dynamic cloud solutions (3 5 years).
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure guidance, maintenance, and troubleshooting (3 5 years).
• Experience with servers, platform sizing, and infrastructure cost optimization (3 5 years).
• Strong understanding of concepts involved in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, PowerShell, or equivalent scripting.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) and higher

• Cloud security expertise and familiarity with best practices.
• Chaos engineering experience for resilience testing.
• Knowledge of site reliability engineering (SRE), DevOps, and/or DevSecOps methodologies.
• Integration experience with on-premises technologies (e.g., VMware, Cisco, Dell, etc.).

• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across organizational teams.
• Strategic thinking to align cloud solutions with organizational goals.
• Collaborative mindset to work with stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise architecture teams.
• Problem-solving skills for complex technology issues and operational challenges.
