$100k- $140k year

Successful candidate will focus on the development of companies current EVOX platform and next-generation high-power EVOX system. Will support debugging and optimization of power and control systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operation across complex energy environments. Will include working closely with customers on site integration and ensuring compliance with codes and standards at both the local and federal levels. Develop, design, and optimize electrical circuits for high-power applications with a focus on fuel cell integration, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and power management. Contribute to the electrical design of high-power switching and control cabinets, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and performance standards. Lead the integration of advanced controls and automation systems to optimize system performance and energy management using analytical and empirical methods. Assist in the implementation of intelligent control algorithms to handle stateful and stateless energy scenarios that optimize energy flow and ensure system stability. Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and performance optimization of the company EVOX product line. Stay up to date with advancements in power electronics, control systems, and energy storage technologies. Conduct root cause analysis of power and control failures and implement effective corrective actions. Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, including UL certifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams both internally and externally within product development, service, customer support, and controls implementation to develop systems and strategies for energy system components.

Requirements:

• Strong background in 3 phase high-power systems, energy storage, and/or microgrid applications.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
• 5-10 years of relevant professional business experience.
• Proficiency in power electronics design, circuit simulation, and analysis tools (e.g., PSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar).
• Experience with advanced control systems for energy management, including programming knowledge of control algorithms and IoT integration.
• Hands-on experience with debugging and resolving issues in power and control systems.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements for high-power energy systems.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems, fuel cell technology, or battery energy storage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing electrical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
