QA Automation Engineer
QA Automation Engineer
Salt Lake City, UT
Long-term Contract: $50-$62 per hour
Our client is in search of a QA Automation engineer to join their team on a long-term contract.
As a Test Automation Center of Excellence, the individual would also have the following responsibilities:
- Write code, scripts or procedures to test systems and/or controls.
- Ensure proper procedures and controls are in place throughout the development process
- Review engineering deliverables, and ensures proper procedures and controls are in place
- Responsible for reporting and tracking issues.
- Responsible for planning, design and development of appropriate automated tests for all areas of responsibility.
- Design, Develop, setup and maintain automation frameworks
- Responsible for setting, planning, designing, and implementing the automation architecture and development strategies
- Responsible for code review and compliance to automation standards
- Participate in improvement of automation standards and ensure implementation with relevant teams
- Champion quality and automation within the enterprise
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of programming, developing automation, creating automation frameworks or other directly related work experience.
- Extensive experience with software test automation tools, software design methodologies, automation frameworks, platforms, related systems and technologies.
- Extensive experience with REST API Automation using tools (Postman)
- Proficient in SQL and relational databases
- Proficient in Java, vbscript, Python, TestNG, Playwright
