Pay Rate: $50/HR - $70/HR
Selling Point on Client: Small Workday team. Availability to work from home.
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Workday HRIS Administrator to join their IT team. In this role, you will work closely with the HR team to manage and optimize Workday HCM modules. You will play a key part in system implementations, testing, and process improvements to ensure efficient and effective HR system operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
System Administration & Support
- Manage the daily operations of Workday HR modules, including HCM, Benefits, Absence, Payroll, and Time Tracking.
- Assess system issues and enhancement requests, analyzing their impact and feasibility for implementation.
- Configure, test, document, and roll out updates to Workday processes and system settings.
- Monitor and manage Workday's weekly updates and bi-annual release cycles, ensuring a smooth transition by implementing best practices.
- Continuously analyze HR processes to identify opportunities for system improvements and automation.
- Proactively identify and escalate system-related risks or challenges.
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a key point of contact for Workday-related updates and troubleshooting, supporting the team from issue identification through resolution.
- Work with HR, IT, and Finance teams to enhance system capabilities and implement improvements.
- Stay engaged with the Workday community, including user groups and industry conferences, to remain informed on best practices and emerging trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with Workday customers and partners for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in process improvement and system optimization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in both in-person and remote work settings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- A continuous learning mindset and a willingness to stay up to date with Workday developments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive system enhancements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Workday Administrator, including:
- Managing HCM, Absence, and Benefits in a multi-state environment.
- Configuring Workday Business Processes.
- Creating and managing Workday reports.
- Overseeing Open Enrollment processes.
- Knowledge of Workday technical features such as EIB, Core Connectors, and Integrations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in the staffing industry.
