Location: Cleveland, OH

Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$27.00/ Hourly

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and Designers to assemble and test industrial automation equipment, machinery, and fixtures using drawings and schematics.
• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components according to technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Verify the accuracy of components and materials against the bill of materials before assembly.
• Measure precision parts and check clearances to ensure proper fit and function.
• Wire electrical control cabinets, panels, and circuits neatly and accurately, labeling wires as per electrical schematics.
• Communicate with engineers to address any issues related to fit, alignment, or interference, and make necessary adjustments as directed.
• Use hand and power tools efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, consistently adhering to safety protocols.
• Actively seek ways to enhance assembly processes, improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent experience and training.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in equipment assembly and repair, ideally within a light industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• High attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent in using hand and power tools.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
